“The Birdsong” is named after Kyle’s great-grandparents on his maternal side, it’s a name we chose not only because it is beautiful, but because it reflects what we value most: family. Opening in Smithville connects Brittany’s family roots, and the name ties in Kyle’s, making The Birdsong a little piece of both of us.

From the start, our vision was to create a place that feels like home, a comfortable spot where friends, family, and neighbors can gather, play games, share stories, and make new memories together.

The concept takes inspiration from Brittany’s grandparents’ homes—cozy, a little retro, a little vintage, yet up-to-date and familiar. Nothing frilly, just good prices, good drinks, good food, and good company!

You’ll also find pool tables, shuffleboard, darts, a few arcade games, a book and game nook, and cornhole on the patio. Add in Friday night karaoke, Monday Music Bingo, the occasional live show, and plenty of seasonal fun, and you’ll get a sense of what "Birdee's" is all about: a laid-back local hangout with a heart for family, community, and good times.
